I’m Dave Thompson, and I’m honored to have served two terms as your Financial
Secretary/Treasurer and 30 plus years as a union representative. Over the years, I’ve worked

hard to ensure our union’s finances are strong, transparent, and aligned with the International Constitution and the needs of our members. This local is in the best financial shape in its history. I’m running for re-election because I believe in continuing that work with integrity, accountability, and a deep respect for the trust you’ve placed in me.

What I’ve Delivered

• All International Audits are completed.

We’re now fully up to date no backlog, no surprises. Our records are clean and current.

• Completed a Department of Labor Audit.

The auditor was impressed with the accuracy and organization of our financial records.

• Championed Coach Operator Barrier Doors.

I’ve led this safety initiative from the start. Installation should be completed by the beginning of Q3 2026.

• Represented Members in Investigations.

I’ve stood by our members during difficult moments, helping save jobs and protect livelihoods.

• Delivered Transparent, Accurate Financial Reporting.

I’ve made it a priority to keep our financial records accessible and easy to understand.

• Guided Responsible Budgeting.

Every decision has been made with long-term stability and member priorities in mind.

• Digitizing the Local’s Records.

All the hardware, software and training necessary to bring us into modern records keeping is in place.
